It is that time of the year to celebrate Homecoming.  For those of you who are new to our school district, Homecoming is a chance to show our school and district pride!  It has been a tradition that all of the schools participate in the Homecoming parade.  Sand Lake will be represented in the parade with our float. Sand Lake students and staff will view the parade Friday, September 22 on the west side of Main Street between Legion Street and Lake Street.  The students will be loading buses at 12:40 p.m. and will return at approximately 2:15 p.m. Following the parade, it is our preference that all students return to Sand Lake. If you would not wish for your student to attend the parade, please notify your child’s teacher by Monday, September 18 so an alternative arrangement can be made.

Sand Lake students are invited to participate in Homecoming Spirit days:

·         Monday, September 18 - Pajama Day - (Wear your favorite school appropriate pajamas)

·         Tuesday, September 19 - Neon Color Day- (Dress in your favorite neon colored clothing -no glow stick accessories)

·         Wednesday, September 20 - Country/Western Day - (Wear your favorite western / country attire: flannels, hats, bandanas, overalls, vests, cowboy / girl boots, etc.)

·         Thursday, September 21 - Team Jersey Day – (Wear your favorite sports team apparel)

·         Friday, September 22 - School Spirit Day – (Show off your Holmen Pride!  Wear your Holmen / Sand Lake clothing, accessories; or anything maroon, white, and / or gray)
